▲Cyclone Kenneth was the second powerful tropical storm to hit southeast Africa within a span of five weeks, devastating areas still reeling from Cyclone Idai.

At one point a Category 5 storm, Hurricane Dorian tore through the Bahamas, destroying over 13,000 homes and killing at least seven, with that number expected to rise. It's a tragedy, but we've unfortunately seen plenty like it before.
