According to a statement from her family on Twitter, Alley, who also starred in the sitcom 'Veronica’s Closet' in the late '90s, "passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered." She died surrounded by her family, and the statement added, "As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother."
On December 13, the well-loved professional dancer Stephen 'tWitch' Boss was found dead in a Los Angeles motel. His wife, fellow dancer Allison Holker Boss, shared the news of his passing in a statement the next day. "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us," she wrote. "He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans." Police confirmed that Boss took his own life at the motel. Both Boss and his wife appeared on the hit TV show 'So You Think You Can Dance' for several years, and he even returned to act as a judge in the 2022 season. Boss was also well-known as the DJ on ' The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'
Terry Hall, founding member and front man to British ska revival band The Specials, has died at the age of 63 following a "brief illness." In a statement posted on The Special's Instagram account December 19, the band called Hall "one of the most brilliant singers, songwriters and lyricists this country has ever produced," as well as "a wonderful husband and father and one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine of souls."
