▲The rapper's death was a result of "mixed drug toxicity." His death was ruled an accident.

There was allegedly not enough of any single drug to result in overdose, but the combination was lethal.

▲The Nirvana front man was a troubled soul, and he joined the "27 Club" when he took his own life in 1994 at the young age of 27.

▲Grunge icon Cobain was found dead three days later in his Seattle home. He had recently checked out of rehab and his suicide note has since been widely distributed on the internet.

▲The Queen of Tejano music was shot by former employee and president of her fan club, Yolanda Saldívar, in March 1995. She ended up dying from blood loss and subsequent cardiac arrest.

▲Guitarist and rock legend Jimi Hendrix also baffled the world when he died at 27. The talented musician was found dead in a London apartment in September 1970.

▲The R&B star was only 22 when she died in a tragic plane crash in August 2001.
