The Spanish crime drama series 'La Casa de Papel,' created by Álex Pina, became 'Money Heist' in several international markets, and quickly became a big hit. But the intense journey has sadly come to an end with the fifth and final season, which Pina promised would be the most "epic and exciting" season yet.
The final season was released in two parts, with five episodes dropping on Netflix on September 3, and the last five on December 3. Fans have been on tenterhooks waiting to see how the action-packed drama will end after four years of high-stakes thrills. As Pina aptly put it, "the robbery works like a football match because two teams are playing and one has to win and the other has to lose. You really want to know how it’s going to end: will they get the gold out of the Bank of Spain or not?” There's only one way to find out!
As we bid adieu to the award-winning show, how about we look at some truly fascinating facts that only die-hard fans know?
