'The Witcher' premiered on Netflix in December 2019, and was quickly commissioned for a second season. It's based on a series of books by Andrzej Sapkowski, and is set in a fantasy world in medieval times. The series follows the story of the Geralt of Rivia, portrayed by Henry Cavill.
One of the most striking elements of the show is how many beautiful locations are used for filming: the series was filmed across the Canary Islands, Hungary, Austria, and Poland.
