'Dr. Phil'
- For many people, 'Dr. Phil' has been on the air as long as they can remember, but the long-running daytime talk show, hosted by Dr. Phil McGraw, announced that its 21st season, concluding in 2023, is its last. "I have been blessed with over 25 wonderful years in daytime television," McGraw said in a statement sent to People. "With this show, we have helped thousands of guests and millions of viewers through everything from addiction and marriage to mental wellness and raising children. This has been an incredible chapter of my life and career, but while I'm moving on from daytime, there is so much more I wish to do." And indeed, McGraw might be done with this particular show, but he has big plans with CBS Media Ventures for a new project expected to launch in 2024. McGraw concluded, "I am compelled to engage with a broader audience because I have grave concerns for the American family, and I am determined to help restore a clarity of purpose as well as our core values."

'The Walking Dead'
- After 12 years, 11 seasons, and 177 episodes, beloved zombie series 'The Walking Dead' came to an end. The finale aired on November 20, 2022, and saw many storylines tied up, while many others remained open. That is, of course, because multiple spin-offs have been announced, which meant that every time a character who is slated to star in a new series had their lives in supposed danger on the show, fans knew they'd turn out fine, thus the dramatic tension was cut. Still, the spin-offs are good news for viewers who weren't ready to let go of their favorite characters just yet.

The famed show, which has received 51 Emmy nominations in total as of 2022—including Best Comedy Series for nine of its eleven seasons—premiered back in 2000 and aired for eight mostly consecutive seasons until 2011. I’ve also been told from numerous sources that he is the most generous of lovers. I am so excited to once again transform into this force of nature. I only pray that I can do him justice.”
