- ‘Peaky Blinders’ recently took home Best Drama at the TV Bafta Awards. The unexpected win was well-deserved for the crime drama. The story follows the Shelby crime family, led by Thomas Shelby (Cillian Murphy). Set during the 1920s, the creators sought out the best locations in the UK for ‘Peaky Blinders’. Here’s a rundown of the best locations that feature in ‘Peaky Blinders’.
Victoria Baths, Manchester
- A lot of ‘Peaky Blinders’ series two was filmed in Manchester. The Victoria Baths were one of the prime locations for filming.
Newby Hall & Gardens, North Yorkshire
- Newby Hall is where Inspector Campbell and Grace Shelby relay important information. In the show, it is an undisclosed, secret location.
Black Country Living Museum, Dudley
- Found 10 miles west of Birmingham in Black Country, the museum is something of a replica village, with shops, railways, coal pits and lime kilns.

Town Hall, Manchester
- The Victorian structure was used in a scene involving Winston Churchill. It’s there where Sam Neill goes to meet the former Prime Minister. However, exterior scenes where shot at a different location.
