Canada's connection to 'Saturday Night Live' doesn't stop at its Toronto-born creator, Lorne Michaels, nor with its several Canadian cast members over the years. There have been plenty of Canadians who have hosted the show, been musical guests, or just made funny cameo appearances.

The newest will be 'Shang-Chi' star Simu Liu, who will host the sketch comedy series for the first time on November 20. Liu largely grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and famously starred in the CBC sitcom 'Kim's Convenience' before becoming a world-famous Marvel superhero.
