How is this list calculated? -

The Global Peace Index (GPI), compiled by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), is a comprehensive measure of global peacefulness. It uses 23 indicators to assess safety, conflict, and militarization in various countries. These indicators include factors like crime rates, political stability, and military spending to provide a detailed analysis of peace levels worldwide. The GPI helps policymakers and organizations make informed decisions regarding peace and security. Each country is assigned a GPI score, and the lower the score, the better.
