MOVIES Movie posters
A film poster is used to promote and advertise a movie, and is created primarily to entice paying customers into a theater to see it. Distributed to coincide with a film's release, the poster works as a visual lure and depicts the starring actors and perhaps a key scene from the script.
But when official movie posters cannot be imported for Hollywood films, local artists will bootleg them to the best of their abilities, and with varying degrees of success — or failure!
