When it comes to winning Oscars, you're never too old (or young)! Though it can seem like most prizewinners are glamorous adults, there have been many children and older stars who have taken home a trophy too.
The oldest nominee for directing at the 96th Academy Awards, taking place on March 10, is the legendary Martin Scorsese. The 81-year-old is the oldest director ever to be nominated in this category for his 2023 film 'Killers of the Flower Moon.' If he wins, he'll steal Clint Eastwood's title as the oldest Best Director winner, which he earned in 2004 at the age of 74 for 'Million Dollar Baby.'
While you wait for Sunday's results, click on to meet the youngest and oldest Oscar winners of all time.
