When it comes to winning Oscars, you're never too old (or young)! The oldest person to ever win an Oscar was Anthony Hopkins at the age of 83—making him a whopping 73 years older than the youngest winner, Tatum O'Neal, who was just 10 when she scooped her Academy Award.
This year may not have nominees quite as old or young to compete with those legends, however, there are still some records to break. If Timothée Chalamet wins the Best Actor award, then he could become the Academy's youngest Best Actor winner of all time.
So, with the 97th Academy Awards set to take place next week, let’s take a look at the youngest and oldest Oscar winners (so far!).
