As streaming giants like Netflix dominate how we watch films, cinemas across the country have been gathering dust. To keep cinemas alive, prices on food and drinks have increased, as has the price of tickets. But now Vue has taken a gamble and announced a new deal to get people eating popcorn in comfy chairs.

The cinema company announced it will cut all tickets to films to just £5. The “Every Film Every Day” offer applies to all films except those in 3D in 22 cinemas across the country. Vue cinemas in Aberdeen, Cheshire Oaks, Hull, Manchester, Norwich, and York will all receive the offer. Hopefully the deal catches on and more cinemas take on the “Every Film Every Day”.

Rival cinemas Cineworld and Odeon have also announced plans to get crowds to cinemas. They both offer membership cards that allow multiple visits for under £20 every month.
