National Hispanic Heritage Month affords the opportunity to celebrate the lives and careers of the most influential Hispanic Americans, individuals from the fields of sport, politics, science, entertainment, and other genres whose accomplishments have enriched US society and contributed towards the lasting legacy of Hispanic culture.
