Saturn is one of the furthest planets away from Earth in our solar system. Referred to as an outer planet—along with Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune—it's famous for the distinctive rings that encircle it. The rings themselves contain particles of liquid and ice, as well as some rock and dust.
Made up of gases and liquids, Saturn is the only outer planet whose beautiful rings are visible to us on Earth. But in 2025, Saturn's rings will disappear... Or will they?
