An unexploded American bomb from World War II detonated at Miyazaki Airport in Japan, causing a crater and disrupting airport operations. Some 80 flights were canceled due to the incident, but no injuries were reported, Japanese officials said. Similar incidents have occurred in other parts of Japan and in countries like Germany, where unexploded bombs are frequently discovered during construction works.

In Germany, a 1,102-pound (500-kilogram) American bomb was found during construction work near Mainz 05’s MEWA Arena stadium. The discovery led to the evacuation of approximately 3,500 people. The presence of unexploded World War II ordnance in Germany is common enough that companies often hire private bomb disposal teams to check construction sites for safety.

The attack on Pearl Harbor occurred on December 7, 1941. The following day, on December 8, 1942, a Navy radar detected an aircraft from Japan. Navy pilots were sent to intercept, but they mistakenly identified an American P-40 fighter instead of an enemy plane.

The Blood Flag acquired its name due to being stained with blood during Hitler's unsuccessful coup, known as the Beer Hall Putsch of 1923. It held great significance for the party, but disappeared following the war's conclusion. Its fate, whether destroyed or still in existence, remains unknown and unanswered.
