Ever flown off the handle and regretted it after? Lashed out at someone you love for a reason you don't understand? Chances are it was your shadow at play. Best defined as "the parts of our personality we wish to hide from others," our shadows develop early in our lives and can be very destructive.
From making us judgmental and critical, to angry and unfaithful, our shadows can have a negative impact on our lives in many ways. Luckily, there are things we can do to understand our shadows and help ourselves heal.
