Private jet crash in Buenos Aires kills at least two pilots

Even with ever-improving technology, we seem to have constant grim reminders of the catalog of air disasters recorded in the annals of commercial aviation. Sadly, few survive a plane crash, such is the destructive force of an event of this nature.
In recent news, a private plane crashed into several houses in Argentina this Wednesday, resulting in at least two deaths. The accident claimed the lives of both pilots on board, and the possibility of additional fatalities has not been ruled out.
According to local media, the accident occurred during the aircraft's landing. Images shared show the plane and a house engulfed in flames near San Fernando Airport, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. Witnesses at the scene said the plane "landed too far down the runway and for some reason could not brake, and ended up crashing into houses next to the airport.”
The aircraft, a Bombardier Challenger 300 LV-GOK, belonged to the family of Jorge Brito, president of the River Plate soccer club.
