Too good to be true - After matching on a hookup app, one user picked up his date and drove them to a motel. When they got to the room, she said she'd left her purse in the car.

One user offered to pay the bill at the end of a meal, but his date insisted that they split it. He didn't have change so he pocketed her money and paid with one large note.

The stalker - A Reddit user was chatting to a guy on Tinder and happened to mention where she worked. She was at the office and her phone was running out of battery so she told him she'd have to message him later.

Within 10 minutes, he showed up at her workplace with an iPhone charger and a grin. They'd never met in person before, so she was completely freaked out! She reluctantly agreed to meet him at a bar after work to return the charger.

She gave him the charger and quickly left. Later that evening she saw he had posted a happy selfie on Instagram with the caption, "I’m now a taken man" and a winky face. She never spoke to him again, but spotted him "casually" walking up and down the street outside her office several times after that.

A female user was on her way to a Mexican restaurant for a first date. She received a message from her date saying he'd arrived early and ordered her the salad. She had to sit there with her salad and watch him eat his tacos. Not cool.

First and last - A male user decided to try Tinder. On his first date the woman told him her goal was to get pregnant in the next few months. He never used Tinder again.

One user was excited when he matched with a pretty girl on Tinder and she suggested they meet at his place almost immediately!

An unfortunate user's one and only Tinder date lasted for 30 seconds. His date walked out of the subway, looked at him, said, "Sorry, I don't like you," and left.

One user shared that he's had lots of rejection with dating apps, but was excited one day when he matched with an attractive woman. He sent her what he thought was a witty message and she responded right away!
