2019 has been a pivotal year for environmental activism. This has taken the form of mass activism and protests, globally. Much of this has been brought on by the terrible weather events from the year, including devastating fires in Brazil and the USA, and flooding in Venice, Italy, and China. However, the positive thing is that awareness of environmental issues is now at an all-time high, with the consequence being that far more people now have knowledge of the problems faced and the importance of the preservation of nature than ever before.
