Bosnia's lady in red - Zorica Rebernik has been obsessed with the color red for over four decades, and it shows.

Her entire home is red - “When I turned 18 or 19 there came a sudden, strong urge to wear red,” Rebernik told Reuters. “There must not be a single dot of any other color on my home decorations or clothes.”

A present and after-life obsession -

“Everybody knows me. As soon as people see me, they offer me different red things,” she said, adding that she would never accept a non-red gift, no matter its value.

Zorica had tombstones made for herself and her husband from a special red granite imported from India.

There is no occasion where she won't wear red -

She got married in red. Her husband Zoran welcomed the color into his life when the two were wed.

Rebernik even goes to funerals dressed in red, instead of the traditional black.

It's empowering for her -

She said that wearing shades like scarlet and vermilion gives her "the feeling of strength and power."

Every room in her home, just like every hair on her head, must be red.

Rebernik herself cannot explain her obsession, only that she listened to her body, and her body was apparently telling her "red."

Interesting problems arise - One downfall of an entirely red wardrobe is that her husband doesn't notice when she wears something new. “I can’t tell the difference. Everything is the same,” he said.
