How to organize your wardrobe for cold weather -

A tidy wardrobe makes for a tidy mind, not to mention helping you save on unnecessary ironing, making life just that little bit simpler. If you have clothes in your closet that haven't seen the sun in ages, the onset of the colder season  is the just excuse you need to start cleaning things out. Check out these tips!

Preparation - Get prepared to spend several hours reorganizing everything—this is going to transform your life. Wear comfortable clothes, take a deep breath, and set to it!

General clean - Specialists say it's best to start by taking everything out of the wardrobe. Put clothes on the bed and shoes and bags on the floor.

Separation - To make sorting simple, create three piles: keep, give away, and not sure. In addition to gaining space in your closet, you'll also be doing a good deed by giving away your unwanted clothes to charity.

Labels - If you don't have a lot of space, then labeled baskets can be a tidy and practical way of storing your clothes.

Underwear - To avoid a jumbled mess in your underwear drawer, use separators, which come in a range of styles to suit all tastes!

Bras - Store your bras separately to stop them from getting caught on other materials and to avoid damaging the cups. If you don't have a separate drawer, then separators can work well.

Drawers - Save drawer space by folding clothes and storing them side by side instead of on top of each other. This will also help you see your clothes selection more easily when it comes to picking out what to wear!

Ties - Not everyone can have a fancy closet with an individual place for every single necktie. For those with loads of ties, a good tip is to separate them in PVC or plastic rolls.

Shelves - If you don't have drawers then use shelves to organize your clothes, ordering them in terms of how often you wear them. Put the ones you don't use so often in the places that are harder to reach, and keep those you do at center stage.

Bed sheets - Bed sheets are sometimes the worst things to try and store. To save space and avoid misplacing matching sheets, fold the whole set into one of the pillow cases. It's super handy for keeping them together, and it looks tidy!

Seasonal clothes - If you have a lot of clothes but little space, then a good idea is to store them according to the season. Keep the ones you don't need right now tucked tidily away until the change of weather comes!

Vacuum packed -

Large clothing items are ideal to vacuum pack in a bag. Tip: this will also come in handy when winter is over and those coats start taking up too much space!

Hangers - Choose hangers that are single colored, of the same size and shape, and which are sturdy. Pay attention to the details, make sure you have hooks for delicate clothes, internal straps, etc, as this makes all the difference.

Hanging clothes - Hang up clothes which crease easily, or which are difficult to iron, such as dresses, fine blouses, suits, shirts, and large coats.

Rainbow - It may seem over the top, but keeping your clothes in some sort of logical order helps when it comes to choosing what to wear last minute. They can be arranged according to colors, tones, or prints.
