Sea creatures - A Chinese city was showered with sea animals, including shrimp and starfish, and giant hailstones after a storm.

Sea creatures - The residents of Qingdao posted several pictures on social media of the so-called "seafood rain," which may have been caused by the storm sucking animals out of the ocean, or even nearby food stalls, and dropping them all over the streets.

Spiders - Spiders are terrifying for many people, but raining spiders are just next level nightmare stuff. That's what happened to 20-year-old Brazilian Erick Reis in 2013.

Spiders - When coming back from a friend's wedding in Santo Antônio da Platina, near São Paulo, Reis filmed the spider torrential, in a creepy video that ended up on YouTube.

In a freaky incident in 2009, a downpour of dead tadpoles shocked people in coastal Japan. According to The Telegraph, the rare meteorological event happened after winds and storms sucked up the creatures, only to drop them inland.

It's a bird! It's a plane! Wait, it is actually a bird. As reported by the HuffPost, raw chicken bits rained down on a teen girl during a horseback riding lesson in Virginia, USA, in 2012.

The most acceptable theory blamed seagulls for the grim shower. This isn't a unique situation though. In 1876, an incident dubbed the "Kentucky meat shower" saw flakes of red meat fall from the skies in Bath County, Kentucky.

Blood - In 2008, scientists were left scratching their heads when residents of the small town of La Sierra, Chocó, Colombia, claimed it was raining blood on their community.

Blood - According to local news, the substance actually tested positive for blood. A similar incident took place in India in 2001, but National Geographic described the "blood rain" as rain that carried desert sand or volcanic ash for thousands of miles.

Shark - In 2012, a small shark fell on a golf course in Southern California in the US. Yahoo reported witnesses saw the shark had puncture wounds, leading them to believe it was scooped up by a bird.

Shark - One of the course marshals placed the animal in a bucket with salted water before releasing it back into the ocean, where it freely swam away.

Money - In 2007, a German woman was driving when she saw a considerable amount of Euro notes swirling in the sky.

Golf balls - According to Popular Mechanics, local authorities in Punta Gorda, Florida, were dumbfounded after a rainstorm suddenly started dropping "dozens and dozens" of golf balls.

Golf balls - The event happened in September 1969 at the golf course-filled city, and was thought to be the result of severe weather causing waterspouts that swept up the balls from ponds.

Human body -

This extremely unlikely situation happened in San Diego, California, back in 1978. A woman was in her car with her baby when a human body suddenly crashed through her windshield.

Human body - Turns out the body was one of the victims of the collision between Pacific Southwest Airline flight number 182 and a private Cessna airplane, which killed 144 people. According to the San Diego Magazine, bodies were splattered all over the city.

Fish - Residents of a small Australian town were baffled to see that live fish were falling from the skies.

Fish - The small desert town of Lajamanu was bombarded by the animals. The Daily Mail said the fish were probably sucked up by a tornado and dropped over the Australian outback.

Mud - A strange mud shower was described by an Easton, Pennsylvania, resident in a letter to Science Magazine in 1902. It was apparently caused by a dust storm followed by rain.

Mud - Later that year, a "shower of red mud" fell down over New Zealand, according to a telegram from November 14.

Non-dairy creamer - In 1969, powdered non-dairy creamer suddenly started raining from the skies over Chester, South Carolina.

Non-dairy creamer - It just so happened that a company that manufactured Cremora (a powdered non-dairy creamer) had an issue with its exhaust vents, which spewed the white powder into the air every time they got clogged.

Cow - In 1997, the crew of a Japanese fishing boat had to be rescued from the Sea of Japan. They claimed a cow fell from the sky and sank them but were arrested as authorities didn't believe their bizarre story.

A couple of weeks later, the Russian Air Force told Japanese authorities that the cow had indeed fallen from one of their planes mid-flight, after the poor animal got so distressed it had to be forcefully thrown out of the aircraft.
