Hypochlorhydria: when your stomach can’t break down food

An uncomfortable stomach can be very unpleasant. When your stomach doesn't make enough acid, it's called hypochlorhydria. Without enough acid, the stomach cannot digest food properly, which means it cannot absorb the nutrients and vitamins from food.
