An uncomfortable stomach can be very unpleasant. When your stomach doesn't make enough acid, it's called hypochlorhydria. Without enough acid, the stomach cannot digest food properly, which means it cannot absorb the nutrients and vitamins from food. You might notice an uncomfortable stomach and presume you have too much stomach acid, however, not having enough can lead to a whole host of health issues.
