In 2024, Hologic, a medical technology company, published the Women's Health Index—a survey conducted with more than 147,000 participants from 143 countries and territories. Taiwan secured the top spot with an index score of 72 (out of 100). The US dropped seven places in the ranking to 30th place, with a score of 61.
