The Statista and Newsweek's World's Best Hospitals ranking is calculated based on a number of metrics, including the results of an online survey of over 85,000 medical professionals, as well as patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). The methodology used to rank the top hospitals in the world also took into account hospital quality metrics and existent patient satisfaction data. In total, 2,400 hospitals in 30 countries were considered.
