Vegetarian shoppers everywhere are rejoicing over the news of the new meat-free hot dog at Ikea.
"Adding a veggie hot dog to the Ikea Bistro range is part of our ambitions to include more plant-based ingredients in our food offer," the store wrote on its Instagram post. "The final version of the veggie hot dog will be available at Ikea stores in Europe from August 2018."
It looks similar to their Swedish veggie meatballs.
Though it is currently not vegan, the store plans to perfect the plant-based recipe before releasing it to other locations.
"The recipe is vegetarian, but for the test production sold at the Malmö store we were not able to secure that all ingredients in the test production were 100% vegan," an Ikea spokesperson told Mashable. "Our aim is for the final product to be made using a vegan recipe."
Hooray for more options! Now everyone can spend all day shopping.
