The flat cap goes by many names depending on where you are in the world. It's a round cap with a small, stiff brim in the front, originating in the Anglo-Celtic Isles. They've been around since the 14th century, and have been coming in and out of style ever since. Traditionally, they're made of cotton, wool, or tweed. These days, however, they're made of all kinds of materials, especially the ones celebrities wear.
Realistically, these stars are so beautiful that they would look good in anything, so the fact that they're rocking flat caps better than anyone's grandpa comes as no surprise.
