In today's high-pressure world of unrealistic beauty standards, slimming down is high on the to-do list for many. Celebrities aren't immune to the pressure to shed some pounds. In fact, living in the public eye makes it all the more pressing. Many celebs have tried or been offered Ozempic—a drug that isn't FDA-approved for weight loss but is gaining popularity nonetheless.
The rapper known as Fat Joe no longer lives up to his name! The 54-year-old, who weighed 470 lb (213 kg) at his heaviest, has lost a whopping 200 lb (91 kg) using Ozempic and cutting down on carbohydrates. He revealed that he's been diabetic since he was a teenager, but finally decided to make some serious changes in 2000 when his friend and collaborator, Big Pun, passed away from a heart attack. Since then, he has tried to reduce the amount of high-carb foods he consumes, such as bread, pasta, and rice, and Ozempic has helped to curb his cravings.
