On October 13, actor Alec Baldwin crashed his wife Hilaria’s Range Rover into a tree while driving through the Hamptons with his brother, fellow actor (and Hailey Bieber's father) Stephen Baldwin, also on board. In an Instagram video titled 'Thank you for your concern,' Alec said he swerved to avoid “a garbage truck the size of a whale,” leaving the vehicle “pretty smashed up” and sustaining visible facial injuries.
Photos published by TMZ and the New York Post showed Alec, 67, standing beside the damaged SUV. “To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big fat tree and crushed my wife’s car,” he said. He also thanked the police for their assistance. Stephen, 59, was uninjured.
Indeed, celebs get cuts and bruises just like anyone else. Alec Baldwin’s crash may have been a close call, but he’s far from the only celebrity to face danger behind the wheel.
