50 Cent -

In 2003 the rapper bought a property in Connecticut for US$4.1 million. The mansion, which previously belonged to Mike Tyson, turned out to be a nightmare to sell when 50 Cent listed it in 2007.

It took a whopping 12 years for the property to be sold. Not only that, but the house went for US$2.9 million, which is a lot less that what 50 Cent paid for it in 2003.

The Piano Man paid US$11.8 million in 2004 for his 13,000-square-foot Palm Beach County mansion. A year later, Joel tried to sell the Florida property.

The Obamas bought a new Martha's Vineyard vacation home in 2021. However, the family already owned a property in the area, which was first put up for sale in 2015 for US$22.5 million.

Combs first listed his Park Imperial property in New York City for US$8.5 million in 2012. The three-bedroom apartment was originally bought in 2005 for US$3.82 million.
