In 2016, Kim Kardashian was in Paris for Fashion Week when she was victim of an armed robbery. Kardashian was held at gunpoint, tied up, and over US$9 million in jewelry was stolen by the robbers.

In 1982, the singer, together with his assistant and his three-year-old daughter, were getting into his car near Sunset Blvd in LA, when an armed man approached him.

Rod Stewart was held at gunpoint and told to hand the car keys. The gunman stole the singer's  Porsche. It is not clear whether or not the car was ever recovered.

The actor intervened in an argument between a couple outside a club and ended up being held up at gunpoint. "I nearly lost my f--- life, after attempting to stop a man threatening his girlfriend outside a club," he recalled.

Idris Elba recalled the episode: "A guy [was] whaling on his missus, screaming in her face, ‘I’ll f--- kill you,’ and so on. I come round and I go, ‘Look how beautiful she is. Why would you talk to this beautiful princess like that?' He pulled out a gun, stuck it right in my face, and goes, ‘You talking about my girl?’ He thought I was trying to hit on her.”

The actress got kidnapped and held at gunpoint in Mozambique. "There was one time in Africa where I got kidnapped. It was in rural Mozambique,” Wilson recalled. “We were on this cattle truck and these men came on another truck with a lot of guns. [They pulled up beside us] with the big guns and they were like, ‘Yeah, you’ve got to get off your truck,'" she added.

Rebel Wilson and the rest of the group were taken to a house in a remote location and kept overnight. They were released unharmed the following morning. The reason for the kidnapping remains unknown. "I think maybe those guys, maybe, used us to smuggle illegal things in the bottom of the truck," Wilson suggested.

In 2013 the rapper was robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco. He later took to Twitter to send a message: "Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken. Rings, chains, watch , money etc. 2 answer that question."

2 Chains then tweeted "Rule #2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to hospital or dies." Then the rappers wrote one third and final tweet about the incident, as follows: "2 blessed 2 stress."

The NBA player was robbed by three men in 2008 at the Eastmont bus station in Oakland, California. One of the muggers pulled a gun on him.

Lillard refused to give the men his money and backpack. "When I was telling him 'No,' and they realized I wasn't a punk ... then he was like, 'What?' and I got him up off me and he backed up and pulled his gun out," Damian Lillard recalled.

In 2008 the rapper tweeted "Six n--- kicked in my door and tried to kill me." It turns out, he was actually in danger. "Somebody kicked in the door," he said. "One dude ran in, put the AK to my homeboy's head, put him to the floor. The other two ran in, and my homeboy jumped in the other room," Boy later recalled.

Soulja Boy said he then opened fire on the intruders, and that "everything was good" by the time police arrived on the scene.

The actress was a victim of a home invasion in 2016. A burglar broke into house in Beverly Hills and "pointed a handgun at her neck." He then told Stowe: "I want all the valuable, I want something."

The burglar left the house with US$75,000 worth of antique jewelry. Police later arrested the alleged intruder, a man named Walter Canizalez.
