Eva Marie Saint is one of the last surviving movie stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema. Born in 1924, she began her career in television and on stage before finding worldwide fame with 'On the Waterfront' (1954), for which she won an Academy Award. Further work on the small screen later garnered the actress a Primetime Emmy Award. She retired in 2017, only to reappear in public the following year as a presenter at the 90th Academy Awards, where she received a standing ovation.
