For many people, having a baby is a sign of commitment to a relationship. It is often thought that couples who get pregnant are in it for the long run. The reality is, of course, that relationships can end at any time, including when there is a child on the way. Granted it is not so common, but there are couples who go choose to go their separate ways while expecting.
Such is the case for Cardi B and Offset. The rappers had been married for six years and already had two children together, Kulture and Wave, but their relationship problems were no secret. News broke on August 1 that Cardi B had filed for divorce for the second time, and shortly after, the 'W.A.P.' rapper revealed that she was pregnant. Just over a month later, their third child was born. She shared the news on social media with the date "Sept. 7," and a series of photos of her in the hospital with her new baby. "The prettiest lil thing,” she wrote in the caption. In the divorce, Cardi B filed for primary custody of all three children.
