Lenny Kravitz was raised by one Jewish and one Christian parent, but he developed his own relationship with religion when he became ill with the flu at a training camp for the California Boys Choir. He spent days confined to the infirmary with a minister's son and they spoke about God the entire time. One day, Kravtiz says they both felt the overwhelming presence of God in the room with them. He has been a devout Christian ever since.
