Stars weigh in on the Hollywood bathing debate
Mila Kunis throws shade at the debate while making it so much worse

In July 2021, while hosting 'Armchair Expert,' Dax Shepard told co-host Monica Padman that she shouldn't use soap to bathe every day, as it rids the body of its natural oils. A conversation about personal hygiene ensued, and the debate really widened when Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher revealed that they don't bathe their kids every day. But while some in Hollywood find this perfectly acceptable, others find it astonishing.
Kunis appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' September 28 and rehashed the debate when the host mentioned that "a lot of people are talking" about the couple's comments. The actress groaned and said, "It's so dumb." She added, "We bathe our dogs. Does that make people happy?" And when DeGeneres asked if the couple bathes their dogs more often than they do the kids, Kunis replied, "Fact, yes."
The actress said that she showers herself everyday, and her "intent" is to bathe the kids daily, but things hardly work out as she plans. "I wake up every day and like, 'Today, 'I'm going to shower my kids.' And then bedtime happens, and I forgot to feed them." She added that her kids touch "a body of water" almost every other day, and when pressed for details she explained, "Sometimes it's the pool, sometimes it's a sprinkler. It's COVID. Who showered in COVID?"
Kunis also threw shade at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who previously contributed to the debate, saying, "But apparently, The Rock showers, so congratulations, The Rock. You shower." At the end of the conversation, Kunis quipped that she didn't make "this story any better right now," and DeGeneres pointed out that she made things worse when she "added to it that you forgot to feed them."
