After losing his partner of 35 years, fashion designer Tom Ford has opened up about the challenges of adapting to life as a single dad. Ford lost his husband, the fashion journalist Richard Buckley, in September 2021 after a prolonged illness. However, Ford thinks he's gotten pretty good at managing things alone with his 9-year-old son Jack. He recounted their shared morning routine which allows him to drop Jack at school by 7:45am and get an early start on his own day. Ford is embracing the new challenge at the age of 60.
