While there was much to talk about after the 2023 Grammys, including actual music and musicians, people could not get enough of Ben Affleck, who looked like he really did not want to be there. Even the cameras must have noticed because they kept cutting to Affleck's grimace next to his smiling wife Jennifer Lopez, reminiscent of his meme-ified photo smoking which has been circulating on the internet for years. 

“Whoever keeps cutting to Ben Affleck as he gets more and more exasperated, thank you,” tweeted radio host Elamin Abdelmahmoud. 

“Ben Affleck is every husband dragged to a work thing by his wife,” another person tweeted. 

“Ben Affleck is every introvert everywhere,” yet another Twitter user wrote. “You can see his batteries draining in real time. Man is already at 23%. #SaveBen.”

Chris Pine and Harry Styles -

On top of all the historic drama behind Olivia Wilde's 'Don't Worry Darling' film, particularly with her leading lady Florence Pugh, it seems Chris Pine also had enough at the Venice Film Festival. In addition to looking like he was dissociating or holding in screams while his co-star Harry Styles told reporters that his"favorite thing about the movie is that it feels like a movie, it feels like a real, go-to-the-film movie," there was a moment that has captured the internet's attention. 

A video of an interaction as Styles took a seat next to Pine for the film's premiere was being analyzed so closely that it was being compared to the famed 26-second film shot by Abraham Zapruder which captured the assassination of former president Kennedy. In it, Styles appears to spit in Pine's lap, mostly because of Pine's reaction as he pauses his applause and looks down at his lap, stunned, then appears to smile and laugh in disbelief as the two co-stars avoid eye contact entirely. We may not know for sure, but the whole event was filled with tension.

Tommy Lee -

Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee decided to get a little racy on social media in the early hours of August 11, 2022, and the internet will never get over it. The musician is already somewhat famous for his sizeable 'drumstick' thanks to the notorious tape of himself and ex-wife Pamela Anderson that was leaked in 1996. It seems that he felt like sharing his manhood with the world one more time as he posted a full-frontal naked photo to social media around 3 am. The photo remained there for hours until finally being removed from Instagram and Facebook, although more than 24 hours later it was still available for perusal on Twitter! Lee later admitted he posted the photo while he was on a "bender." 

One Twitter user commented, "tommy lee getting his chopper out on IG wasn’t on the 2022 bingo card, but here we are." Another joked about the epic coverage of the situation, tweeting "Joe Biden your silence on the Tommy Lee Instagram d*** pic is a national disgrace."

Jesse Williams -

Jesse Williams' big moment came in the form of a leaked full-frontal naked video of him performing in the Broadway show revival of 'Take Me Out.' Audience members were required to lock away their phones "out of respect and support for our actors," so the leak should not have happened. But now the former 'Grey's Anatomy' star, who had already expressed his nervousness about being so exposed, has been exposed to the world. The venue of the show, 2nd Stage Theater, was even reportedly going beyond the honor system and had fans keep their phones in a Yondr pouch which could only be opened by a specific unlocking tab in the lobby, but people clearly have a hard time separating art from salacious internet fodder. Fortunately, Williams was already receiving praise pre-leak for landing a Tony nomination for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for his work in the revival of the 2003 production, which itself is up for Best Revival.

BTS member V -

On December 13, 2021, Guinness World Records announced that BTS member V—whose real name is Kim Taehyung—broke two social media records for being the fastest person to reach both one and 10 million followers on Instagram. He hit one million in just 43 minutes, and hit 10 million in 4 hours and 52 minutes! Previous holders of the titles include Jennifer Aniston and Rupert Grint, but their numbers are playthings for the famed K-pop band, who all have more than 30 million followers each!

In November 2021, Madonna shared some risqué photos of herself posing on her bed wearing fishnets and leather lingerie, which left some of her breast exposed. The star, in her 60s, is constantly proving that older women are still relevant and still hot! Instagram subsequently removed the more revealing photos, which has inspired a conversation about ageism, misogyny, and censorship.

Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain -

Anyone who saw the 'Scenes from a Marriage' (2021) co-stars Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain on the Venice Film Festival red carpet knew immediately that the steamy moment they were witnessing was about to go viral. In the slow-motion clip, which one Twitter user shared with the caption "I wish I had words for this but I really do not," Chastain rests her hand on Isaac's shoulder, and amid the flashing camera lights, Isaac takes a moment to admire her bicep, stroking it gently as they make eye contact, then kissing it. Chastain is obviously flustered, and they laugh as Isaac does a chef's kiss gesture.

When Jolie finally decided to join Instagram in 2021, she broke the record for the fastest user to hit one million followers. In less than a month, she had over 10 million followers. Jolie used her first post to share "a letter I was sent from a teenage girl in Afghanistan," staying true to her history of human rights activism and drawing attention to what's currently happening with the Taliban after the US withdrew from the country. "Right now, the people of Afghanistan are losing their ability to communicate on social media and to express themselves freely. So I’ve come on Instagram to share their stories and the voices of those across the globe who are fighting for their basic human rights," she wrote. She added that it's "sickening" to see Afghans forcibly displaced and then mistreated as refugees, and wrote of the US's involvement, "To spend so much time and money, to have blood shed and lives lost only to come to this, is a failure almost impossible to understand."

Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer had the internet swooning with mere reports that they'd been spending a lot of time together after the 'Friends' reunion. In the reunion the pair admitted they had crushes on each other while filming, but one of them was always in a relationship and they never acted on it. A source close to the pair told Closer, "After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they'd always had to bury was still there. They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in L.A." Apparently "it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them."

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis shook the parenting world after revealing how little they wash their children! The couple were debating hygiene habits on Dax Shepard's 'Armchair Expert' podcast, and said that neither of them are fanatical about showering daily, or scrubbing their whole bodies when they do shower. Kunis revealed that she didn't feel the need to give her newborns a daily bath when she had kids. Kunis and Kutcher said that their current game plan with their two young kids is that if they only wash them if they smell or look visibly dirty. Kutcher's exact quote was this: "if you can see the dirt on 'em, clean 'em. Otherwise, there's no point." This approach to hygiene instantly went viral and divided the internet!

Dolly Parton caused an internet meltdown with her recreation of her 1978 Playboy cover! The icon got back into the bunny costume and did a new photo shoot. She said it was a surprise for her husband's 79th birthday, as he had loved the original cover. Parton joked about how she's changed since 1978: "I was kind of a little butterball in that one, well I'm string cheese now. But he'll probably think I'm cream cheese - I hope!"

Ashley Olsen is a notoriously private star, but her now-husband Louis Eisner shared a rare snap of the former actress in the wilderness. In the photo, posted to his Instagram story on July 9, the fashion designer is hiking while carrying a drink in a tumbler-type glass in one hand, and a long black machete in the other. Naturally, the photo went viral. It even reached Olsen's old 'Full House' co-star John Stamos, who told TODAY he was as confused as the rest of us. He could only throw his hands up and shrug at the instantly-iconic machete-beverage-hiking photo.

The typically green-haired, baggy-clothed singer shocked everyone with photos of herself on the cover of British Vogue looking like a glamourous blonde pin-up in figure-hugging corsets and skirts. Her Instagram post surpassed one million likes in just six minutes, and became the fastest picture in history to achieve such a feat on the platform. Perhaps anticipating the surprise, she wrote on Instagram, "I love these pictures and I loved doing this shoot. Do whatever you want wnever you want. F— everything else."
