Fashion forecasters could never have seen this coming: face tattoos are in. Sure, big stars like Lil Wayne have flaunted their face tattoos for years, but the tattoo trend reached new levels of popularity in 2018 with the rise of inked-up icons like Post Malone. Since then, many stars have followed their lead, although some came to regret their choices soon after...

One of the most recent and unexpected stars to join the trend is Cardi B. The glamorous rapper has plenty of tattoos but usually keeps them below the chin. On March 3, she shared a photo of her new tattoo on Twitter: her son's name, 'Wave,' written in red cursive on her cheek just above the jaw. "I love my face tatt," she wrote in the caption. Cardi B gave birth to Wave, who she shares with husband Offset, in 2021. They also have a four-year-old daughter named Kulture.
