The internet can't get enough of Ben Affleck's Dunkin' Super Bowl ad

Throughout his career, Ben Affleck has experienced stratospheric highs and barrel-scraping lows. A double Academy Award winner, the acclaimed Hollywood actor, director, and producer has at times followed a bumpy personal and professional road, but has always managed to bounce back and silence his critics. His personal life has certainly taken a major upswing in the last year thanks to his reunion with lost love Jennifer Lopez, and their subsequent marriage.

But sometimes the lowest moments, like those meme-ified photos of Affleck slurping down coffees over the years, can fuel the highest moments. That's certainly true with the actor's latest Dunkin' Super Bowl commercial, which he not only starred in but also directed. "Dunkin' 'Drive-Thru' Starring Ben" was inspired by the viral footage of the famed Bostonian working the drive-thru at a Dunkin' in Medford, Massachusetts. "We thought, who better to represent [our menu] than the ultimate Dunkin' runner, Ben Affleck?" said Dunkin' chief marketing officer, Jill McVicar Nelson, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

The ad features Affleck working the drive-thru window, taking orders and selfies with customers, one of whom doesn't even recognize him. Plus, at the end of the commercial, Jennifer Lopez rolls up in her car. "Is this what you do when you say you're going to work all day?" she asks incredulously, before reminding her husband to grab her a glazed donut on his way out. Fans online say this is a full-circle, destined moment in Affleck's career.
