Also in 2022, he played Tom Parker in Baz Luhrmann's Oscar-nominated biopic 'Elvis.' Hanks was completely transformed and unrecognizable as the nefarious and complicated Parker.

In this 2022 dramedy, Hanks plays Otto, a heartbroken widower with a bitter, surly demeanor. The heartfelt movie was generally well reviewed and performed well at the box office.
