When Minaj was understandably upset by the news that her single 'Super Freaky Girl' would not be considered in the hip-hop categories at the Grammys and would instead be in the pop category, she pulled Latto into her complaint saying that 'Big Energy' should then also be pulled from rap and "ANY1 who says diff is simply a Nicki hater or a troll," she tweeted. Minaj noted that both tracks had the same producer, Dr. Luke. Latto reportedly tried to talk to Minaj offline, but Minaj aired it all out online.

Minaj called Latto an "entitled Karen" who'd "be silent; rather than speak up for the black woman she called her biggest inspiration." Shots were fired on Twitter between the two, with Latto calling Minaj's husband out for being a sex offender and Minaj getting the Barbz involved. Latto then shared a video clip of their conversation where she can be heard telling Minaj that she didn't mean to diminish the iconic rapper's role in paving a way for women in the industry, while Minah tells her she needs to do more research.

Little Mix -

Minaj's 2021 collaborator and former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson was accused of "blackfishing"—which is when a non-Black person tries to pass as Black or mixed using things like bronzer, tanning, Photoshop, cosmetic surgery, etc—following the release of her track 'Boyz.' Screenshots of alleged DMs from Little Mix member Leigh-Anne Pinnock bashing Nelson flooded Twitter, and on October 11 Minaj joined Nelson on an Instagram Live to apparently call the bandmates out.

Though she didn't explicitly mention any names, Minaj referenced the alleged messages and advised that they should go in an explicit place... She also said, "If you was in this woman's group and you ain't talk about this s—t for 10 years, and as soon as you see she's got a video coming out with Nicki Minaj ... Stop. If you want a solo career, baby girl, just say that," she said. "You don't have to attack someone else. If that's how you felt, why were you kiki'ing with her and being in the videos with her for 10 years?" Minaj added, "Now, all of a sudden she's not in a video with you, you have some negative, evil thing to do and say? Stop."

Following the announcement of the controversial 2021 Grammy nominations, Minaj aired her grievances about the award show. “Never forget the Grammys didn’t give me my best new artist award when I had 7 songs simultaneously charting on billboard & bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade—went on to inspire a generation,” she tweeted, adding, “They gave it to the white man Bon Iver.”

When Minaj's latest album 'Queen' charted second to Travis Scott's 'Astroworld,' she responded to the news by calling Scott out for selling over 50,000 “season pass” bundles (a ticket to his tour comes with the album) and she tweeted, “I spoke to him. He knows he doesn't have the #1 album this week.”

When MTV announced the nominees for the VMAs, Minaj wasn’t on the list for Video of the Year. She took to Twitter and wrote, “When the ‘other’ girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination.”
