Jared Padalecki and other memorable celebrity arrests -

'Supernatural' and 'Gilmore Girls' star Jared Padalecki has just been arrested for assault and public intoxication, this Sunday morning in Austin. He allegedly hit both a bartender and the general manager of a club he often frequents.

Of course, he's hardly the only celeb to have landed on the wrong side of the law.  Check out this gallery to see which other stars were put in cuffs, and what surprising crimes they reportedly committed.

Lori Loughlin - Lori Loughlin, better known as Aunt Becky from the 'Full House' franchise, and her husband were connected to the college admissions scandal. They were accused of paying US$500,000 to get their daughters recruited to USC as rowers, when they had never even been on a crew team.

Felicity Huffman - 'Desperate Housewives' star Felicity Huffman was also arrested in connection to 'Operation Varsity Blues.' Huffman is accused of paying US$15,000 to an organization to help her daughter cheat on her SATs. She has already served her time in jail for her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Heather Locklear - The 'Melrose Place' actress was arrested in Thousand Oaks, California in June 2018 for alleged battery against a police officer. She was sentenced to 30 days in a residential mental health facility.

Heather Locklear - In February of 2018, Locklear was arrested for domestic violence once police found bite marks on her boyfriend Chris Heisser's body. Then, when the cops were putting her in cuffs, she punched two of them in the face and kicked another in the groin, resulting in three counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer, Page Six reports.

Vince Vaughn - In the early hours of June 10, 2018, Vaughn was arrested for drunk driving and resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer. Sgt. Tim Zins clarified to CNN that he wasn't so much resisting as "delaying the investigation." He was released from jail after posting bail.

Vince Vaughn - This is not the only incident that the actor was involved in. He was also maced and arrested in 2001 by North Carolina cops, charged with fighting in public after being involved in a bar brawl alongside Steve Buscemi, who was hospitalized after being stabbed four times, ABC News reports.

T.I. - The rapper has previously spent time in prison, but his release saw a changed man who devoted more time to activism and music. However on May 16, 2018, he was arrested outside his gated community in Henry County, Georgia.

T.I. - According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, T.I. had an argument with the guard, who was allegedly asleep and had initially refused to let him in without his keys. The rapper was arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

T.I. - In an interview with The Blast, T.I. boiled his arrest down to the law enforcement in his community being "white cops in a very white area."

Allison Mack - The 'Smallville' actress was arrested for her alleged role in the sex slave cult Nxivm. In April 2019, Mack pleaded guilty to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy, and is currently awaiting sentencing.

T.J. Miller - The 'Silicon Valley' actor was arrested for drunkenly calling in a bomb threat on an Amtrak train. Miller was allegedly so upset when a woman didn't respond to his flirting that he called 911 to tell them she had a bomb in her bag. He caused massive delays and could have faced prison time, but was released on a US$100,000 bond.

Matthew McConaughey - After McConaughey's neighbors reported several noise complaints in 1999, the police showed up to his Texas home and found him playing bongos and dancing, while completely naked. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Matthew McConaughey - In an interview with Playboy, the actor asked, "What's wrong with beating on your drums in your birthday suit? I have no regrets about the way I got there."

Bruno Mars - The singer was arrested back in 2010, around the time of 'Just the Way You Are,' when he was found with a bag of cocaine in a bathroom in a Las Vegas hotel. He told GQ he was extremely intoxicated at the time and explained, "I was young, man! I was in f*****g Vegas. I wasn't thinking."

Reese Witherspoon - The actress and her husband were pulled over in Atlanta after they were seen driving in the wrong lane, resulting in one of the funniest arrest videos to ever leak. While being arrested for disorderly conduct, Witherspoon said, "You better not arrest me," then added the iconic, "This is beyond," and, when the officer didn't know her name, she warned, "You're about to find out who I am."

Jay-Z - The famous rapper was arrested in 1999 and pleaded guilty to stabbing record producer Lance "Un" Rivera in 2001.

Khloé Kardashian - This Kardashian was arrested in 2007 for driving while intoxicated, and she served less than three hours in jail due to overcrowding. Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner allegedly keep framed photos of her mugshot in their homes, because that's what family is for.

Scott Disick - Another member of the Kardashian posse, Scott Disick was also arrested for driving under the influence in 2001. Khloé thought it would be funny on Disick's birthday in 2014 to share both of their mugshots on Instagram as part of her happy birthday message to him, but the "joke" was apparently not very well received.

Winona Ryder - The actress was famously busted for shoplifting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, but when she spoke to Interview magazine, she confessed that the arrest was the best thing that could have happened to her at the time because it forced her to take a break and re-evaluate herself.
