Kevin Hart and Nick Cannon have been playing elaborate pranks on each other for years. Given Cannon's recent prolific procreation, making him a father of 11, Hart has taken to calling him "Fertile Myrtle." He decided it would be hilarious to send Cannon a vending machine full of condoms. Cannon revealed that the surprise 'gift' landed him in some hot water, causing some "baby mama drama" as he put it. Luckily, everyone relaxed when they found out that it was from Hart. "It's about complicating a person's day, how do I make your day difficult? That's a beautiful prank," Hart said. He definitely succeeded!

As part of their ongoing prank war, Cannon sent Hart a llama for his birthday in 2021. Hart responded by putting Cannon's personal phone number on a billboard in Los Angeles! He then shared the billboard on Instagram, advising his followers to contact Cannon for advice on fatherhood.

Aubrey Plaza -

'The White Lotus' is full of suspense both on- and off-screen it seems, as Aubrey Plaza admitted to an elaborate prank on her co-star Adam DiMarco which made him paranoid that he was being harassed by an anonymous witch, as she told GQ in a new profile. Since the cast lived on the set of the titular hotel, Plaza decided to leave reed diffusers “arranged in a large Blair Witch–style symbol” on the floor of DiMarco’s dressing room as well as her own—to deflect suspicion. She also slipped “ominous messages that read here lies…” under people’s doors and convinced DiMarco, “over bottles of red wine,” that it wasn’t her, even when hotel staff provided video evidence!

 “They thought I was sketchy," Plaza said of the Italians. "Which I am.” She did own up to the deviousness of the prank, however, and said, “Adam was so innocent, like a baby bird. It was really sick, what I was doing to him. I got him to the brink of a psychological break.” DiMarco himself even agreed: “I was definitely questioning my reality for a while there,” he told GQ. “I didn’t know who to trust. It was like 'Murder On The Orient Express.' Everyone was the murderer.” If he didn't know the kind of person Plaza was before, he certainly knows now!

Brett Goldstein -

British actor Brett Goldstein rose to international fame thanks to his starring role in the beloved sitcom 'Ted Lasso.' So much so, in fact, that he landed himself an entry into the Marvel Universe! Like many actors, his potential future in the franchise was teased in a post-credits scene at the end of 'Thor: Love and Thunder.' Goldstein appears as Hercules, the son of Russell Crowe's Zeus, and speaks one line. 

Goldstein hid this major news from his parents and casually suggested they go and see the movie at the theater. He told Variety that his mother was sending him a running commentary throughout the film, commenting on parts she thought were funny and which actors popped up. At one point she texts him saying "Russell Crowe’s in it again, he’s very funny," which sent Goldstein into a panic! "‘F*****g look up at the screen!" he responded, thinking she'd miss his fleeting appearance while looking at her phone. Luckily, his parents didn't miss the surprise.

Kim Kardashian shared in an interview that her daughter North West is learning to use special effects makeup and has a real talent for it. One day, however, she decided to use her talents for evil. West used fake blood to turn a room of their house into a crime scene and covered herself and her younger sister in gore to give Kardashian a fright. (Pretty hardcore for a nine-year-old!) Kardashian cleaned the girls up and put them to bed, but decided to do the rest of the cleaning the following day. She rushed out of the house to take the kids to school the next morning, and while she was gone, the housekeeper arrived and thought that she'd walked in on a murder scene! The poor woman thought something terrible had happened a tried to call the authorities. Luckily, the misunderstanding was cleared up before police time was wasted.

Chris Pine -

Chris Pine shared a prank he played on an unsuspecting stranger who mistook him for a '90s heartthrob at an Oscars party. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, Pine explained that a man approached him at the party and said "I know you!" but couldn't quite seem to place him. The "fan" took a guess that Pine was Joey Lawrence, an actor famous for starring in the '90s sitcom 'Blossom.' Pine responded "Not quite, but thank you," apparently delighted to be mistaken for Lawrence! The stranger was perplexed by this point and said, "Come on man. Tell me. Who are you?" Pine decided to tell him that he was Chris Evans, better known as Captain American. The guy responded "That's my man!"

Paul Rudd -

For years, when Paul Rudd would appear on Conan O'Brien's show to promote his latest film, instead of showing a clip from that movie, he'd bring the same clip from the critically maligned 1988 cult film 'Mac and Me.' (It's the scene of a boy in a wheelchair going over a cliff into a lake.) Though the TBS late-night show ended, Rudd's commitment to the joke did not. He appeared on the 'Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend' podcast where he started to speak about a scripted narrative podcast he's developing for Audible, explaining that it's a great opportunity to work on his own project and record it with friends, including Adam Scott, Ken Marino, and Celia Weston. After several minutes of pitching the project, Rudd casually mentioned that he has a clip of it..."Oh for Christ's sake!" O'Brien shrieked when the 'Mac and Me' clip played again. "Why? Why! You can't do this on a podcast! That's why I didn't see it coming! It's a visual joke!" Well, it landed!

Mark Wahlberg -

Mark Wahlberg was out to dinner with friends when he spotted comedy legends Billy Crystal, Rob Reiner, and Albert Brooks at a restaurant in Santa Monica. He greatly admires the three actors and was determined to pay their bill, but he also saw an opportunity for a prank. One of his friends was all dressed up for dinner with some flashy jewelry, so he told him to pretend he was a prince from a wealthy country. (The same friend had never heard of the three actors so he walked up to their table and said "I love your music!") Wahlberg kept the joke going by telling the group  "I'm doing a big oil and gas deal with him," to which they said "Can we get in?" Wahlberg told them, "No you can't get in." He later pretended that it was the "prince" who had paid their dinner bill.

Halle Berry -

Halle Berry has proven to be quite the character on social media, and she decided to kick off the new year with a prank. The actress shared a photo on New Year's Day of herself and boyfriend Van Hunt kissing in front of what seems to be an altar, writing in the caption, "Well… IT’S OFFICIAL." But in the second photo in the same post, the text says "It's 2022!" over a close-up selfie of the two smiling. Fans and celebrity friends including the likes of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Octavia Spencer, and Naomi Campbell started pouring in with congratulations and well-wishes for what they thought was the newly married couple. Berry had some laughs in the comments section and then on January 2, she shared in a new post, "We were just having some New Year’s Day fun! People clearly don’t swipe as much as we thought they did,” she joked.

George Clooney and Julia Roberts -

George Clooney is a notorious prankster, but this time he got a little help from a friend. He appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on December 16 to talk to the host about his upcoming film, 'The Tender Bar,' which he directed. Speaking via video chat, in the middle of their conversation, Julia Roberts rolled into the shot on an office chair wearing black shades on a straight face and saying absolutely nothing. Clooney hilariously had no reaction, even when Kimmel informed him there was a woman next to him. And then just as unceremoniously, Roberts slid out of the shot. The two have long been friends, ever since co-starring in 'Ocean's Eleven,' but they were in Australia together filming the upcoming movie 'Ticket to Paradise.'

Grimes shared a photo to her Instagram on October 3 after she was papped reading 'The Communist Manifesto' while wearing an elaborate hooded outfit. "I was really stressed when paparazzi wouldn’t stop following me this wk but then I realized it was opportunity to troll," she captioned the photo. She included in her post a photo of a headline that read, "Grimes seen reading Karl Marx following split with world's richest man Elon Musk." Musk previously announced that he and the Canadian musician are "semi-separated" after three years together, "but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms," he told Page Six.

"Full disclosure I'm still living with E," Grimes continued, "and I am not a communist (although there are some very smart ideas in this book," she wrote. "Anyway if paparazzi keep chasing me perhaps I will try to think of more ways to meme - suggestions welcome!"

Late-night talk show hosts Stephen Colbert and Conan O'Brien are old friends, and it showed at the 2021 Emmys. When Colbert and his team of writers went up on stage to accept their award for Outstanding Live Variety Special, O'Brien crashed the stage and pretended to be part of the crew. He stood in the background celebrating the victory, evoking both laughter and confusion from the crowd! In his acceptance speech, Colbert started to say to congratulate his team saying "These people behind me," but quickly corrected himself and said "Most of the people behind me really deserve this Emmy."

We already know Paul Rudd is the hilarious friend everyone needs, but Seth Rogen just gave us further confirmation. Rogen tweeted a story about his longtime friend on July 5 that has the internet in a tizzy: "Once I was in the spa in a hotel in Vegas getting a massage. When I finished I turned over and to my shock Paul Rudd was massaging me. He saw me go in and convinced the masseuse to let him take over, thinking I’d notice immediately. Ed Sheeran appeared on 'The Late Late Show' on June 28, where he talked about staying at his friend Courteney Cox's house whenever he visits Los Angeles. Apparently the 'Friends' alum once proudly announced she could buy anything she wants from her Alexa device, and his first instinct was to order what he referred to as "an S and M leather gimp mask." An unexpected prankster, Sheeran explained that Cox's assistant opened the package upon its arrival and ended up putting it on the actress's bed. "Courteney comes up, and she's like, 'Where did this come from?'" he said, laughing. "Anyway, she found out the story, and now every time I go back there, I order her another gimp mask. And she has maybe 12, and I hide them in people's bedrooms. So they'll go in a drawer, and they'll just find this leather S[and]M mask. And she had two people look at her piano to try and buy it, two absolute strangers going into her house that I found out about, so I left a couple of masks on the piano as well."
