The era of explosive celebrity interviews is not over. Despite the fact that many celebrities simply speak directly to their fans via social media, the interview still has a place in modern media. Some issues need to be talked through, and difficult questions need to be answered.
Star soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo appeared on Talk TV's 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' where he told the host that he feels like he's being forced out of Manchester United by the coach and some senior executives, "not only this year but last year, too," reports The Sun. 'Ronaldo said plainly, "I feel betrayed."
In the preview for the interview, which will be released in two parts November 16 and 17, Ronaldo claims drastic changes are need at Manchester United to move them on from the Sir Alex Ferguson era. “Since Sir Alex left, I saw no evolution in the club. Nothing had changed," The Portuguese star said. "You have to destroy it to rebuild it and if they start with me, for me, it’s not a problem."
Ronaldo suggested the club is trying to force him out because he's only started four Premier League games and was recently dropped for refusing to come on as a substitute. "I think the fans should know the truth. I want the best for the club. This is why I come to Manchester United," he said. “A club with this dimension should be top of the tree in my opinion and they are not unfortunately.”
