Back when Harry Styles was still in One Direction and had yet to strike international solo fame, he wasn't shy about naming his celebrity crush—but eight years later he went viral after being caught kissing her, and fans are convinced he "manifested" it. In a resurfaced video from a December 2014 interview with Telehit, Styles was asked if he had a “celebrity crush," to which he replied almost without hesitation, "Emily Ratajkowski." 

In March 2023, Styles and Ratajkowski were spotted in Tokyo making out in a video shared by the Daily Mail Saturday. Footage showed the model holding her hand up to Styles’ cheek as he French-kissed her against a silver van, neither of them paying any mind to the onlookers. “Harry manifested this,” podcaster Amanda Hirsch wrote on her Instagram alongside a repost of the old interview clip.

Anderson Cooper -

Anderson Cooper opened up about his sexual awakening during an interview with Andy Cohen on Radio Andy, and Richard Gere is at the center of it. The CNN journalist recalled going to a play called 'Bent' starring Gere in 1977 at the age of 11 with two gay men, photographer Paul Jasmin and his boyfriend, who were friends of his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt. "If anyone doesn’t know about the play ‘Bent,’ it’s about two gay guys in the concentration camp,” Cooper explained. “I mean the opening scene… It is the gayest thing you can imagine." He recounted the opening scene and then added, “And I just remember being like, ‘Oh my God, I’m gay. … I’m totally gay.’" Because Paul Jasmin was friends with Gere, they ended up going backstage after the show where they found Gere shirtless in his dressing room, “And I couldn’t speak,” Cooper continued. “And I had my Playbill and I wanted to get him to autograph it, but I was too—I just couldn’t stop staring at his chest. And so, fast forward to 10 years ago, I was interviewing Richard Gere and I took out the Playbill … and I told him the whole story and I had him sign it. Yeah. He was very tickled with it.”

Betty White -

The late, great Betty White famously had a crush on fellow screen legend Robert Redford, and she wasn't afraid to show it. The 'Golden Girls' star often joked that Redford was what she wanted most, and in one of her final interviews she jokingly told People magazine that her 'Proposal' co-star Ryan Reynolds couldn’t “get over his thing” for her, adding that Redford is “The One." After White's passing on December 31, 2021, Redford paid a heartfelt tribute to White in a statement on January 3. “Betty lived life devoted to her craft and her love of animals. She made us all laugh, including me." Then he tied a bow over her long-standing fondness of him by revealing: "I had a crush on her too!" Surely the actress is smiling somewhere.

Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon are both seasoned A-listers who are happily married, but had they met a couple of decades ago, everything could have been different! It's not really a surprise to hear that anyone has a crush on Jennifer Aniston, but Jake Gyllenhaal opened up about what it was like to film a love scene with his crush. The two starred in 'The Good Girl' in 2002, at the height of Aniston's 'Friends' fame, and Gyllenhaal admitted on 'The Howard Stern Show' on October 5 that it was "torture" to film those intimate scenes. "But it was also not torture. I mean, come on, it was like a mix of both."

Demi Lovato revealed that they had a crush on 'Schitt's Creek' star Emily Hampshire. The two were chatting about their flirtatious past on Lovato's '4D with Demi Lovato' podcast. Hampshire told the story of their first interaction: "You slid in my DMs and you said, 'Hey, I like you on the show. We should kick it sometime.' Lovato followed that up with a message to clarify, "And by kick it, I mean like go on a date. I find you attractive." At the time, Hampshire was 40 and Lovato was only 29, and when discussing their age gap, Lovato told her not to worry. She suggested they'd be like the next Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson (who have a 32-year age gap in their relationship!). Obviously it didn't work out, but Lovato and Hampshire are happy to be good friends.
