DaniLeigh arrested for DUI after alleged hit and run

Former NFL running back (for the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, and Seattle Seahawks) Marshawn Lynch was arrested August 9, 2022, for driving under the influence in Las Vegas, police confirmed. The thrice-retired athlete was pulled over near the Las Vegas Strip around 7:25 am, according to TMZ, where he refused to do a breathalyzer test. Sadly this wasn't his first vehicle-related arrest, as his license was revoked in 2008 after an alleged hit-and-run, and and he was again arrested for DUI in 2012 in California and pleaded guilty to reckless driving in 2014.

Anne Heche -

TMZ reported that the late actress struck a garage structure at an apartment complex on the morning of August 5, 2022, before leaving the scene of the crash and speeding down to the street, only to crash into another residential home.

Heche was put under investigation for misdemeanor DUI and hit-and-run following the fiery car crash which left her in critical condition in a coma, but she died a few days later.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers -

Jonathan Rhys Meyers was arrested for a misdemeanor DUI back in November 2020, after cops said he crashed his car in Malibu. He was hit with three charges, two of which were DUI-related, and the other for reckless driving. TMZ reported that he had cut a plea deal after pleading no contest to the reckless driving charge, and was sentenced to pay a US$500 fine, complete an alcohol ed and counseling program, and one-year summary probation. The other two charges were dropped.

Tiffany Haddish was arrested in Georgia on January 14 on suspicion of driving under the influence. According to the the Peachtree City Police Department, officers responded to a call "regarding a driver asleep at the wheel on Hwy 74" and soon found a vehicle that matched the description, with the famed comedian at the wheel. She was arrested and taken to the Fayette County Jail, where TMZ reports she stayed for a few hours before posting a US$1,666 bond. The outlet also shared Haddish's mugshot, in which she's giving a bright, red-carpet worthy smile.

Some celebrity arrests are incredibly well known because their mugshots have been around the internet for years. Others, however, come more as a shock. Anyone on this list could easily afford to call a cab, but instead, they each chose to get behind the wheel in a state of inebriation. (And got caught!)

DaniLeigh, who is also mother to one of DaBaby's kids, was arrested early May 30 in Miami Beach for an alleged DUI hit and run, according to a police report obtained by TMZ. Several witnesses reportedly saw the singer driving fast and recklessly before she struck a man on a motorized scooter and dragged him for a block. Police initiated a stop and conducted a breathalyzer test which revealed a number that was nearly twice the legal limit. She was arrested and charged with three felonies: driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property. The alleged hit and run victim is said to have suffered a fractured spine and kidney laceration.
