Tom Felton will star in a new sci-fi series, ‘Origin’, to screen on YouTube. The actor is known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the ‘Harry Potter’ series. Felton will be joined by Natalia Tena, who played Tonks in the film saga. ‘Origin’ is centred around a group of strangers who get lost in space. The strangers must work together to survive, but not everyone is who they say they are. Filming is currently underway in South Africa. Other cast members include Fraser James, Philipp Christopher, Siobhan Cullen, and Madalyn Horcher.  Paul W. S. Anderson is set to direct the first two episodes of ‘Origin’.

Since appearing in ‘Harry Potter’, Felton has had a series of exciting roles. He played the menacing Dodge Landon in ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ back in 2011. He has also starred in ‘Belle’, ‘Secret’, and ‘A United Kingdom’. Later this year, Felton will play Laertes in ‘Ophelia’, based on the Shakespearean play of the same name.
