Om (Reunion Project) - Every summer solstice, the incarnation of Om music festival holds a hippy-dippy gathering of spiritualists and partiers alike in southern Ontario. This coming year’s event is June 18 to 24. It features the usual oasis of workshops, art, music, healing ceremonies, camping, and a vegan kitchen.

Shambhala - One of Canada’s best known and most-loved music festivals runs August 10 to 13 on the family-owned Salmo River Ranch, BC. Magical floats and trance-inducing electronic music fill six stages and general admission is $420.

Wayhome - This giant festival that had become part of Canadian music’s calendar won’t be back in 2018 and its future in general is unclear. The three-day southern Ontario event featured Frank Ocean, Imagine Dragons, and Schoolboy Q in 2017. It is “on pause,” according to its website.

Montebello Rockfest - Canada’s biggest rock festival is coming back for its thirteenth edition from June 16 to 18. The tiny village of 900 people and 1,000 cows hosts the party. Early bird weekend passes are $139.
