Queen Camilla has been diagnosed with pneumonia, Buckingham Palace has revealed. During the state visit of Qatar's Emir and his wife, the Queen shared that her chest infection was a type of lung disease.
Camilla is currently experiencing post-viral fatigue and has been advised by her doctors to rest, leading her to forgo outdoor engagements during the Qatari visit. While she has not required hospitalization, the Queen is dealing with episodes of severe exhaustion as she continues her recovery.
The Queen developed her chest infection following a long-haul trip to Australia and Samoa. Since then, she has withdrawn from several engagements, including the Royal Variety Performance, the 'Gladiator II' premiere, and the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph.
