Celebs who publicly apologized to fellow celebs
Ariana Grande apologizes after Elvira calls her out for "disrespectful" encounter
CELEBRITY Apologies
When it comes to the stars, it's easy to put them on a pedestal. Many people have favorite celebs whom they struggle to believe could do anything wrong. In reality, of course, famous people make mistakes just like everyone else. And just like everyone else, when those mistakes hurt other people, they have to apologize.
Ariana Grande has responded apologetically to the accusation that she was "disrespectful" when she attended an Elvira show. The Mistress of the Dark spilled the tea at a Q&A event on October 18, revealing that Grande wasn't a particularly pleasant guest when she attended one of her performances and came to meet her backstage. Grande reportedly brought 20 guests backstage to meet Elvira and take pictures with her, and when Elvira asked Grande to take one photo with her, the singer responded "No, I don’t really do that," and left before the show even started.
A few days later, Grande commented on Elvira's Instagram post about the incident, writing that she was "disheartened" to see it. "I actually don’t even remember getting the chance to meet you because I had an anxiety attack and to my memory, left before the rest of my family," Grande explained. "But if I’m misremembering this moment, I sincerely apologize for offending you so." She explained that she doesn't do well in loud public places.
